Ingredients of Matar Pulao / Peas Pulao

  1. You need 3 tbsp of Ghee / Oil.
  2. Prepare 1 tsp of Cumin seeds.
  3. You need 4 of Cloves.
  4. You need 2 of cardamoms.
  5. You need 2 of Cinnamon sticks(1 inch each).
  6. You need 1 tbsp of Grated ginger.
  7. Prepare 1 of onion sliced.

  15. Prepare 2 tbsp of Lemon juice.
  16. You need 1 tsp of Garam Masala.

Matar Pulao / Peas Pulao step by step

  1. Add ghee to the hot Cooker pan. Throw in cumins,cloves,cinnamon, cardamom bay leaf..
  2. Once they start to splutter add Onion,green chillies,grated ginger and saute.Add cashews and saute until they turn golden brown in colour..
  3. Add Cashew paste and give it a nice stir. Cook in a medium low flame..
  4. Now add Matar,stir well and cook for about 2 minutes..
  5. To the matar add soaked rice, stir them and cook for one minute..
  6. Now add water,lemon juice, garam masala, required salt. Give everything a good stir and pressure cook for one whistle..
  7. Garnish with some Coriander and mint leaves. Done!!!.
