  1. Prepare 1 kg (500 g) of pack x 2) boneless and skinless chicken thighs.

  3. It’s of Chicken Marinade (marinate for 15 mins).
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp of baking soda.
  5. It’s 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.
  6. You need 1 tsp of dark soya sauce.
  7. It’s 3 tablespoons of cornflour.
  8. Prepare of Black Pepper.
  9. Prepare of Orange Sauce (whisk all the below).
  10. It’s 1 tsp of mirin.
  11. It’s 1 tsp of rice wine.
  12. You need 1/3 cup (100 ml) of orange juice- from 1 orange.
  13. It’s of Zest from 1 orange (~1tbsp).
  14. Prepare 1 tsp of garlic paste.
  15. You need 1.5-2 tsp of (leveled) ginger paste.
  16. You need 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce.
  17. You need 1 tbsp of cornflour.
  18. It’s 1 tbsp of honey.
  19. It’s of Cooking.
  20. You need 1 tbsp of oyster sauce.
  21. It’s 1 tsp of dark soya sauce.

Sticky Orange & Ginger Chicken step by step

  1. Chop the boneless thighs into medium chunks (bite sized) and marinate with baking soda, oyster sauce, dark soya sauce, pepper and cornflour. Allow to marinate for at least 15 mins..
  2. Meanwhile add all the orange sauce ingredients listed above in a big bowl/measuring jug. Whisk well. Set aside.. Sticky Orange & Ginger Chicken
  3. In a pan, on medium-high heat, add 2 tbsp oil and in 2-3 batches, shallow fry the marinated chicken chunks. Fry for 2 mins on EACH side to brown/sear the chicken. Remove and allow to drain on a paper towel. Do this process in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan..
